Julie Lasley, PhD., R.T. (R) (T)

Dr. Julie Lasley holds graduate degrees in education from Northcentral University (PhD) with a concentration in curriculum and experiential instructional strategies and a Master of Science in Administration from Central Michigan University. Her undergraduate training was in health sciences with a concentration in radiation therapy from Baptist Health Sciences University.
Dr. Lasley is an associate professor and program chair of radiation therapy at Northern Kentucky University (NKU) in Highland, Heights, Kentucky. She has been an adjunct faculty member at Logan University teaching in the Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Health Professions Education program since 2018. She currently serves as a site visitor for the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Sciences (JRCERT) accrediting agency for radiation therapy and medical dosimetry.
Her current research interests include qualitative research studies focusing on quality-of-life issues with women diagnosed with breast cancer, high-impact learning strategies, and improving stages of reading development in college students. Her most recent research is an Interdisciplinary Pandemic Research Project with Frontline Providers/Leadership teams experiences during the pandemic from 2020-2025.
Dr. Lasley continues to present at national conferences on new accreditation standards for radiologic science programs, experiential learning strategies, and recently presented at the JRCERT Educational Conference on: The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly-AI/Chat-GPT Impacts on Allied Health Student Learning and Academic Integrity.
She is an active YOGI and highly encourages everyone to give yoga a try!
